About Gym Magic

At Gym Magic, we believe every child is a champion. Our programs help children develop physically, mentally, and emotionally, all while having fun! We focus on the whole child, building not just strength and skill, but confidence, perseverance, and a love of learning.

Our History & Ownership

Gym Magic, Inc. was founded in 1993 by Dr. Nancy Bates at 170 E. Picacho. The gym’s name was chosen by our first eight students. After moving locations several times, Gym Magic purchased land for its current facility, opening at 2341 Entrada del Sol in 2004. The second floor was added in 2006, providing classrooms, offices, and a preschool gymnastics room.
In 2020, “The Village” at Gym Magic opened at 601 Espanola St., adding classrooms for ages 3–5 and a full preschool gymnastics floor, allowing us to expand educational programs and our Ninja Program.

Our Programs

Gym Magic has grown from a single gymnastics gym to a multi-sport, multi-program facility.
We offer:

  • Gymnastics: Preschool educational for ages 6 months-5 years, Recreational for ages 6+, and a boys and girls competitive program.
  • Swimming: Learn-to-swim through Lily Pad Swim School for ages 6 months- 15 years.
  • Ninja Classes: Fun obstacle-based skill development ages 3-15 years old.
  • Infant Care: Licensed nursery school
  • After-School Programs & School’s Out Camps
  • Special Events & Birthday Parties
